Captain Sparrow rum island real name is Petit Tabac. This is an beautiful island.

Most location used in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” films are strongly changed in the computer. Not so for Petit Tabac. If you saw one of the movies you will immediately recognise this island. There is a good day time anchorage behind the reef. Snorkelling is good. Together with Kai and Chrissy I went walking on this Caribbean dream island. I made a beautiful portret of them which i showed in our last blog message. In return Kai made this beautiful portret of Yemaya. Thanks Kai! And a message for our guest Jaron: We still didn’t find the bottle of rum which you buried “somewhere” on the island…

By the way: Captain Sparrow was left behind on this island and off course we feel very sad the crew could do such a horrible thing. He was left behind and the only thing he could do was drinking rum. The reality however: If you look the other way than the film was shot… 45 minutes of swimming there is another island. On this island there is a famous lobster restaurant run by the locals. Most people say its the best lobster they ever ate.. What about that? Poor Captain Sparrow!

Look here for another picture from this amazing island: https://www.atthehelm.today/kai-and-chrissy-on-the-beach-of-captains-sparrows-rum-island/

or read more about the Tobago cays (Petit Tabac is part of this) on wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobago_Cays

And the commercial brake: You can look to our special offers if you want to have a good deal discovering Captain Sparrow rum island! Ps: we will only leave you behind on the island if it’s your own request! And you know now the location of the lobster restaurant 🙂
