During the full moon that comes in ‘Phalguna’ (between the end of February and the middle of March), Holi is celebrated. It denotes the beginning of spring and celebrates the victory of good over evil. It is the moment to forget about differences in race, caste, religion and gender and to be conscious of the same Divinity housing in each and all of us. The moment to forget about our outer appearances and to go to inner Oneness. The only way to true Love.

Guru Sri Bhagavan awaits us in the prayerhall sitting on His chair. A line of devotees has formed before Him, eager to be colored by their Guru. Big part of the fun is the play with gulul, the coloured powder. Besides the joy it brings to throw the powder on everybody around you, this tradition has a far more deeper meaning. The gulul helps us to see the unity of us all by veiling all our outer differences. And I can assure you that at the end of the day I could not recognise anybody anymore. In the end all the different colours blended together in a vague, pinkish, redish colour. Everything had adopted this colour: our clothes, skin, hair… even the walls and floor. We were just one big mass of pinkish creatures; one big family.
